Yesterday Danica went the whole day with only a little over an hour sleep. Needless to say I was in the same predicament but on a larger scale. I had virtually one hour of sleep from 2:15 Wednesday afternoon until around 6:00 PM on Thursday. So I went almost 28 hours sleeping barely one and having a week of sporadic sleep. Allie came home to two very cranky family members.
Sometimes no matter how hard I try Danica won't nap, even though I know she needs to. Some have said to take her for a car ride. If I did that and she fell asleep I would have to stay in the car with her while she napped. She is a very light sleeper and would awaken when I took her out. So I am basically stuck with putting her in the crib and hoping she falls asleep. Sometimes it works and sometimes I am stuck with very little sleep.
Allie let me sleep the rest of the evening so I could at least get a little rejuvenated for work. Allie and I are going to go out tonight and have a little time to ourselves which will be nice. Maybe I can catch up on some sleep too! Have a good weekend all.
