Danica Is Walking

She always liked holding onto your hands or a piece of furniture while walking. But other than that she was only interested in standing in one spot, rather than moving around. She still crawls much more than she walks.

Last Sunday was the first day she walked for as long as she wanted. Usually she would walk a few steps, lose her balance, and then fall. From last Sunday on she could walk for as long as she wanted. Sometimes she does lose her balance, but for the most part she can walk for as long as she wants. Which means I can bring her outside and let her walk around while I play Frisbee with the dogs.

I've fertilized my lawn every season and yet I still get dandelions. I think I get them from my neighbors, who do not fertilize or take care of their lawn like I do. Well Danica loves dandelions. So as annoyed as I am that they are growing, I do get joy out of watching Danica and to see how much she likes them.

Emily has been good during the day. She has her nights confused with her days though. She is usually more alert and awake at night. During the day she is very good. We just have to get her used to being up during the days and sleeping at night!
