With two very young daughters I am spending a lot of time changing diapers. I remember my first diaper change last year. I was slow and deliberate. I have progressed since that time and now, over 15 months later, I can change a diaper very quickly.
The only problem with the way I change diapers is that I use a lot of wipes. I watch Allie change a diaper and somehow she goes through 1 or 2 wipes. On the other hand I pull out at least 5 wipes even before opening up a poop diaper. With the way Danica has been squirming during diaper changes the last thing I want is stinky mess getting rolled all over the place. As soon as I take the diaper off I am utulizing the wipes I have set aside. More ofthen than not a poop diaper takes almost 10 wipes. So the wipe makers are very happy with me.
I never look forward to changing diapers but I've got at least another 2 years of changing them, so I might as well get used to it.

With Emily (daughter #2) here sleep has become a luxury! Somehow I hope I can manage navigating the next few years until my daughters head off to school. I cherish every second that I can spend with them.

Hope you are hanging in there. I know it's not the easiest thing in the world.
As for the diapers, you definitely get used to doing two kids. In fact, I think that when I eventually stop changing them, it will seem so weird. It's become a part of my life for over two years now.
