The only one getting more sleep now than before Emily is Danica. She slept to almost 9am yesterday, blowing away her previous record of 8:30. But the previous record was when she went to sleep at 11PM. She was in her crib by 8PM.
I still was not able to get any more sleep, but I actually did pretty good this weekend, which might be why I was dragging all weekend. I guess I've become accustomed to a few hours of sleep. Getting 10 hours is a shock to my system. I found my self trying to nap all weekend and before you know it I am back at work! I was dreading work last night. Just did not want to go... well didn't want to go a little more than usual. But I have to save my days for when Allie gets back to work.
I would give or do almost anything not to have to work and instead stay home with my two daughters. I wish we had the money for one of us to stay home. In a way it make each moment with my daughters that much more precious when I have to go to work... at least that is what I try to tell myself. But realistically I would love staying home with them.
It is 8:24AM and Danica is still sleeping. Emily is at my feet sleeping in her Popuson. I almost want to check in on Danica, but I know if I make a noise she will wake up. I guess I am a little nuts because I am worried about her if she does not wake up at 7 or 7:30. So in a way I want her to sleep, but I also want to hear her so I know she is ok.
Emily is awake now.
