This is by far the longest between posts. Time is truly going in fast forward. Emily was two months old yesterday. Danica is pushing 16 months. She walks and gets into everything now. I have literally no time to post anymore, but I'll try to squeak in whatever I can.
Right now Allie is in Brooklyn and Danica is watching Dora so I am ok for now. The problem is that I should be using this time to get what I can done - like cleaning up, folding clothes, doing maintance around the house, and doing things I normally don't get a chance to do.
It has been much more difficult than I thought it was going to be. It would be worse if Emily was not so good during the day. Last night I stayed up with her and she was very whiny - crying a lot and being squirmy. Then she spit up after she spit up she projectile vomited (I guess - not really throw up mostly formula) all over the place. It's like a water hose was in her mouth and instead of water comingout it was white formula. I had to change her and then this morning at 6:30am she did the same thing. A half an hour later Danica awakes and the fun truly begins.
Danica wants everything and if I take it away from her she gives a fit the devil would be proud of.
I don't think Mom's, or whoever stays at home with the young ones, get enough credit. It is not easy most of the time. I've become better at just letting things go, but I still have a tough time of it.
I have to go. I'll try and get back in a writing groove.
Thanks for reading and back to work tonight. The weekends do not last long enough.

You've got two little beauties!
Don't worry, it will get easier with time. I know it is hard to see now, but it will. Sounds like you are doing a great job, too. We've had to become much more laid back with the two of them as you mentioned you were doing...it is just to hard to stress over everything and letting things go is much easier.
Hang in there.
