Even now I am sacrificing time with my daughters to write this post. I literally have no time during the day to do anything other than watch my daughters. 50% of the time I am neglecting one of my daughters and it gets worse when I try to make dinner or do anything else productive like clean the house.
Right now I put a Blues Room DVD in for Danica (the rain is messing with the satellite) and Emily is still sleeping from the ride home. I figure now is a perfect time to update my 3 dedicated blog readers about the progress of my two girls.
Here is a funny story. I had Emily next to me on her back on the couch and she was sleeping. I was watching Danica and the t.v. Danica was playing with her blocks. She would pick one block up and throw it. As long as she is busy and happy I usually don't care what she does, throwing, jumping, climbing, as long as she is safe and happy. Anyway Danica comes up to me with a block looking like she is ready to throw it. Suddenly she takes the block and starts hitting Emily in the head with it!! Not too hard, actually Emily did not even have a red mark on her head from it. But here Danica was repeatedly hitting her sister in the forehead with one of her plastic blocks.
Emily's lip began to curl and she was starting to cry but not making any noise yet. She was very upset. I picked her up and tried somehow to be annoyed at Danica. "Bad Girl" was all I could muster. Looking back it was pretty fun, but at that moment I had no idea how bad Emily was hurt. She was fine and I don't let my eyes off of her with Danica around.
Danica is calling for 'daddy' so I have to go. I'll try and update with some pictures today. Thanks for reading!
