Before heading to work last night I kept hearing about a winter weather advisory. The roads were supposed to get super slick and icy. For those of you who were sleeping last night the city did not get one ounce of precipitation. I think we all know how great it is to be a meteorologist. Really... do the news stations just anoint any of their employees with this title? Other than copying the forecast from their counterparts what does a meteorologist have to do? They get the report wrong, and are mostly responsible for the thousands of pounds of salt that the city put down last night, and they still get to do the same thing the next day. What a job, absolutely no accountability. Find me another job like that. I'm going to look in the classifieds under jobs were you don't have to know what your doing and I am sure I'll find meteorologist. I think I'm better at forecasting the weather using the weatherbug on my computer.
The good part about all of this was the bad weather forecast must have kept everyone out of Wal-Mart this morning. There was one register open as usual, but instead of 4 people on line the cashier was wiping down the counter... no wait! So get out and shop before everyone realizes that the weathermen and ladies were wrong.
