Where is Mr. Squarepants?

I usually get home from work around 7:50AM. Today was no different until Danica and I went into the living room. Usually she plays with her toys and I get to watch SpongeBob, now one of my favorite shows, but today Nick threw me and probably a lot of Spongebob fans a curveball. Instead of showing Spongebob on Nick1 or 299 on my Directv, Just Jordan was playing. Do you think anyone was looking forward to watching a riveting episode of Mad About You on Nick2? How about putting Just Jordan there? Instead I had to turn on Einsteins on Disney. Now I have to wait until 8:30 to watch Spongebob. It is going to throw my whole day off.

I always joke with my wife that Danica thinks I am a piece of furniture because I am such a fixture for her. When my wife gets home from work Danica is as excited as can be. But she sees me so much she rarely gets excited. In some way I want the "Daddy's home!" kind of excitement from her from time to time. Don't get me wrong... I still have a blast with her. I absolutely look forward to coming home with her. But since she is asleep when I leave and barely awake when I get home she never thinks I leave the house without bringing her with me. Ok it is 8:30 and SpongBob and Patrick are going to be taking care of Sandy's caterpillar!! So long!
