The "Trying to get her to nap" game

She is in her crib now. She went to sleep about 9:30 last night, awoke once during the night, and for good at 7:15. So she slept less than 10 hours. Also she has been a little more cranky than usual. So I fed her some bottle and put her in her crib. I used to rock her to sleep in the slider chair, but now I am trying to get her to realize that lights out in crib means go to sleep. Of course she thinks it is her own personal talk and noise a thon. I just want to go in there and pick her up. i know the minute she sees me she will break out into a huge smile. Right now she is making nosies that resemble a purr from a kitten if that is possible. i really don't know exactly how to describe. but regardless she is still wide awake. Eventually she will fall asleep and I will be able to fall asleep too.

I only slept two hours yesterday. Then I slept 20 minutes on the bus to work last night. We worked pretty hard in the windy cold, so the 30 minutes I got on the bus ride home was also much needed. It is now 10:15 est. and hopefully she will give me 2 consecutive hours of sleep. her noises have eased so I think she is ready. I certainly am!!!
