The cold weather and the magical power of prunes

It is so cold outside I don't even want to bring Danica out to the stores. I just want her inside and warm. I read that in the northern part of Minnesota it hit negative 35 degrees. How do you even function in weather like that. I'm worried about Danica when it is in the positive teens. They say with the wind you can get frost bite fairly quickly.
I feel bad keeping her home all day but we are having fun. She has been a little more energetic than usual the past few days, if that is at all possible. She is also eating table foods with greater ease. Last night she ate some buttermilk biscuit and baked potato. I don't think she is going to have a problem switching to all table food and milk.

After almost 2.5 days Danica finally did #2 but not without a little help from a small helping of prunes. It was amazing to see how quickly it worked, although it might have happened anyway but we will never know. As soon as I started feeding her the prunes her face began to flush and turn red. It was miraculous!!
