Besides an occasional helping of prunes, Danica is eating food that we eat and for the most part is doing a good job. My favorite part now is feeding her while I eat. Like this morning I cut up pieces of my waffle and fed her while I'm eating my waffle. She loves waffles.
Then when you are done eating she tries to feed you what is left on her tray. Yesterday she was eating wheat bread and had a gooey piece that had just fallen out of her mouth. She picked it up and pointed it in my direction meaning "come and eat this daddy!" I looked at the brown and mushy glob and decided against it. I don't think I hurt her feelings. Usually she tries to feed me cheerios which are usually firm and crunchy. I have something against really gooey and mushy food.
Soon enough I will be able to tell her but until then I know she understands.
