Babbling Is Great

Allie pointed out this picture the other day. This is what Danica looked like about 20 minutes after she poker herself in the eye. My other picture that I took with my phone didn't do the injure justice. Sure enough 6 hours later her eye and the area around it looked fine. But at that moment is looked bad.

Today Danica is being very talkative and i think it is only a matter of time until she starts talking... well she kind of talks now, I guess I mean the talking that we can understand. I pointed at a bear in her room and said "say bear". She said something very close to "bear" and I was excited. We had a nice exchange for the next minute or so until she lost interest and we moved on.

I just love the noises she makes now, so i don't know if I want her talking too soon. She makes all the cute baby noises and I look forward to them. But when she can talk I'll know what bugs her sometimes, or if she really is hungry, or what part of her hurts. But for now I enjoy pointing at something and repeating its name over and over... just hoping to get sound from Danica, and getting really excited when the sound is almost right!
