I've taken a break from writing this blog. I've just felt worn out the last week or so. It is also tough trying to write this and pay attention to Danica at the same time. She always comes over to the laptop and wants to type on it. I have to put the laptop down and try and interest her in something else.
Danica's birthday was great. We had Allie's mom and sister over for dinner and cake. Then this weekend we travelled out to my parents house. They live almost 2 hours away with no traffic so we don't get to see them much. We had a great time.
This weekend we are having Danica's birthday party at a place named the "Party Gym" I guess the name is right to the point. Danica won't get to play too much on the toys but her cousins and friends will have a good time!
That was the main problem. Our house is not that big and we have three dogs. So having everyone over our house for her birthday was impractical. Instead all the kids can run around and have a good time at the party gym. In two hours we can head home and everyone hopefully will have enjoyed themselves. It is worth the money.

- The last year and a half has been the greatest of my life! I have spent most of it watching Danica, my daughter, working full-time, and some how trying to find time to sleep. With Emily (daughter #2) here sleep has become a luxury! Somehow I hope I can manage navigating the next few years until my daughters head off to school. I cherish every second that I can spend with them.
