Danica had both a great and cranky weekend. AT times she was her usual happy self, other times she was crankier (if that is a word) than ever before. Of course when she gets really cranky I think that the situation is dire and something is wrong with her. But it is likely just her teeth. She is starting to get teeth in the back of her mouth and her gums are swollen and sore.
So this weekend presented a dilemma... can you tolerate crankiness in exchange for a full night of sleep or would you rather have a 90% happy Danica that naps very little and awakes in the middle of the night? Danica slept from 9PM-7AM both nights (Friday and Saturday) without waking but was cranky both days. Yesterday (Sunday) she was in a great mood but woke up last night at 1 AM. Considering that I am at work when she awakes in the middle of the night I don't have to pay the price.... but Allie does and she is pregnant. So I guess for now I'd rather she let Allie rest.
Hopefully after her teeth come in we can get a happy Danica that sleeps through the night, but I know that is just wishful thinking. She's already starting to become spoiled and cries when she does not get her way... just like her dad.

My vote is cranky girl, full night's sleep. :-) I've been on both sides, too...I'd definitely prefer that. I like my sleep...hopefully Allie is getting some.
Its funny no matter what we do there is no pattern to her sleep. Hopefully she sleeeps through the night more often!
